The use of any drug, such as cocaine, marijuana, THC or extasy, allows toxins to circulate throughout the drug user’s body. The blood stream carries those toxins to the hair follicles. Growing hair admits such toxins into the growing hair shaft. Those toxins will be released by a hair that has become a sample in a drug test. During that test, the hair is dissolved with organic solvents. When shampooed hair has been coated with solvents from the Get Clean Shampoo, the coating on the hair interacts with any released metabolites. The nature of those metabolites can, if unmasked, reveal the presence in the hair of toxins. The Get Clean Shampoo manages to mask those metabolites.
Wet hair, and hair treated with styling gel are especially susceptible to environmental contamination (second hand smoke). During the nicotine or drug test procedure, a hair sample is clipped from the back of the head near the scalp by the examiner.
Note: Smokers should note that wet hair clings easily to environmental pollutants, such as second hand smoke.
Tips: Care must be taken to wash the hair on the back of the head. That is the region where the testing official will cut a sample of hair. Those with longer or thicker hair should plan to use more than one bottle of Get Clean during each shampoo.
Warning: Due to revised testing standards, Get Clean Shampoo is no longer guaranteed by Spectrum Labs. The user of Get Clean Shampoo should not rinse his or her hair until after the hair sample has been removed. |
